Writer's Block: Time in a bottle
If you could eliminate all the calendars, clocks, and measurements of time, how would it change your life? How about the world?
It would destroy our lives, especially any modern production lines. Anything that uses, or is related to, computers. Virtually all devices we use today require a built-in clock that tracks every signal, synchronizes every pulse, and does so to a precision that would have made the precision watchmakers of a century ago gag in disbelief.
Your car -- even a non-computerized car -- requires a timing belt or is at least adjusted to precision timing in operation.
This is a silly question.
